    • Under "Apps & features," you'll see a list of installed programs. Click on the program you want to uninstall and select "Uninstall."
  3. Uninstall Legacy Programs:

    • For older, non-Windows Store programs, you can still use the Control Panel method as described in Windows 7.

For Windows 11:

  1. Uninstall Apps from Start Menu:

    • Open the Start menu.
    • Right-click on the app or program you want to uninstall.
    • Select "Uninstall."
  2. Uninstall Programs from Settings:

  3. Uninstall Legacy Programs:

    • For older, non-Windows Store programs, you can still use the Control Panel method as described in Windows 7 and 8.

Disabling Startup Apps:

  1. For Windows 7, 8, and 10:

    • You can manage startup apps through the Task Manager. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager, go to the "Startup" tab, and disable unnecessary apps from starting with Windows.
  2. For Windows 11:

    • Go to "Settings" > "Apps" > "Startup" to manage startup apps. Toggle off the apps you don't want to start with Windows.

Uninstalling Built-in Windows Apps (Windows 10 and 11):

  1. For Windows 10:

    • Open PowerShell as an administrator. To do this, press Windows + X, and select "Windows Terminal (Admin)" or "Command Prompt (Admin)."
    • Use the following command to uninstall a specific built-in app: Get-AppxPackage *AppName* | Remove-AppxPackage
    • Replace AppName with the name of the app you want to uninstall (e.g., "3DViewer" or "Microsoft.SkypeApp").
  2. For Windows 11:

    • You can uninstall some built-in apps via the "Apps & features" settings in Windows 11. However, not all built-in apps can be uninstalled this way.

Please be cautious when uninstalling or disabling apps, especially built-in Windows apps, as some may be necessary for the proper functioning of the operating system. If you are unsure about an app's importance, it's best to research it before taking any action.
